Learn how to be mindful and live in the moment, it can change your life. This a ten week practice course for those who want to learn about the practice of mindfulness and meditation. We will meet every Tuesday for ten weeks, in person once a month and on Zoom in between. We will explore what mindfulness it, looking at formal and informal practice. You will learn about and practice walking meditation, eating meditation, and minfulness in daily life. We will discuss the tools of mindfulness, including: how to increase awareness, what to do with thoughts and feelings, how to develop an attidue of mindfulness, The Story of Who Am I, the four foundations of Mindfulness, and the S.T.O.P. technique and more. If you are serious about wanting to practice meditation and learn mindfulness, this class will provide you with support and instruction to start you on your path. There will be meditation at each session, where comfortable clothes. Class dates: in-person - Sept. 24, Oct. 29, Nov. 26, online: all other Tuesdays.
