The Department of Human Services now requires all licensed childcare staff to be certified in Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. This course meets the new DHS requirements for all childcare providers. The course covers illnesses and injuries, bleeding and bandaging, allergic reactions, how to use an epinephrine pen, asthma, bites and stings, burns, choking, CPR/AED for children, and CPR for infants. Adult CPR/AED included, if requested. Two-year American Heart Association certificate issued upon completion. Must be 16 years of age unless accompanied by a parent. Books will be available at class for fee of $7.50.
