Carving is a lifelong hobby that can be learned at any age. This beginning hands-on workshop, you'll be shaping by cutting or scraping away material from a solid block of wood creating: a heart, tree ornament, cross, heron, gnome, feather, and/or etc. The fee includes a starter carving set and wood bark. Students leave class with tools, knowledge, and confidence to create wood art pieces on their own. Class dates: Feb. 2, 9, 23, Mar. 2.
